Manajemen Pengendalian Mutu Produk Surf Zinc Pada PT. XYZ Di Bali

Abstract

Surf Zinc is a sunscreen that contains minerals and is useful for protecting the skin from sun exposure. This research was conducted using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method. Statistical Quality Control is a quality control technique by ensuring that all products produced comply with standards. The factors that cause surf zinc products not to meet predetermined quality standards are: product raw materials, labor and equipment used. The purpose of using the Statistical Quality Control method is to control the quality of a product, prevent product failure, and maintain the quality of a product. The analysis results show that the surf zinc product sample data passed the Upper Control Limit (UCL) by testing 18 sample sub groups and a total of 6,760 samples and 753 rejects, and 2 sample data were found to exceed the Upper Control Limit (UCL). The percentage of product defects with a color defect that is too deep has a cumulative percentage of 29%, a defect type that is too soft has a cumulative percentage of 60%, and a moldy defect type has a cumulative percentage of 100%.

 Surf Zinc merupakan salah satu tabir surya yang mengandung mineral dan bermanfaat untuk melindungi kulit dari paparan sinar matahari. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Statistical Quality Control (SQC). Statistical Quality Control merupakan teknik pengendalian kualitas dengan memastikan seluruh produk yang dihasilkan telah sesuai dengan standar. Faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebab produk surf zinc tidak memenuhi standar mutu yang telah ditentukan adalah: bahan baku produk, tenaga kerja, dan peralatan yang digunakan. Tujuan dari penggunaan metode Statistical Quality Control untuk mengendalikan kualitas suatu produk, mencegah kegagalan pada produk, dan menjaga kualitas suatu produk. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa data sampel produk surf zinc melewati Upper Control Limit (UCL) dengan pengujian 18 sub grup sampel dan total sampel sebanyak 6.760 buah dan jumlah reject sebanyak 753 buah, dan ditemukan 2 data sampel melebihi Upper Control Limit (UCL). Persentase kecacatan produk dengan jenis cacat warna terlalu pekat diperoleh persentase kumulatif sebesar 29%, jenis cacat terlalu lunak diperoleh persentase kumulatif sebesar 60%, dan jenis cacat berjamur diperoleh persentase kumulatif sebesar 100%.
