Mandibular canine transmigration. Presentation of a case

Abstract: Transmigration is the displacement within the mandible of a impacted tooth element that crosses the midline for more than 50% of its length. It is a rare phenomenon of unknown etiology, with a prevalence of 0.33% to 0.46% depending on the population studied. It affects more women than men, more to the lower jaw than to the upper jaw, involving mainly the mandibular canine.
