Abstract: BackgroundThe Lyon consensus classifies the evidence of gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) based on endoscopic features and results of pH/impedance monitoring (pH‐MII) including the post‐reflux swallow‐induced peristaltic wave index (PSPWI) and mean nocturnal baseline impedance (MNBI).
