Manufacture of products from boron-containing materials by the method of combined static-pulse compaction

Abstract: In the production of long parts of powder materials, the magnetic pulse method of pressing is of great interest. In this paper a variant of the method combining the radial magnetic-pulse compaction of a powder in a metal shell and longitudinal drawing is considered. Samples were made of boron-containing materials.
