Manufacturing of β-type NbXTi (X=50 at%)/SWCNTs Matrix Nanocomposites by FAST-SPS: For Metallic Orthopedic Components and Superconductor Magnets in ITER

Abstract: Ti-based alloy, it is desirable to reduce its E to that of healthy bone (4-30 GPa) while maintaining its high strength and good plasticity [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]. Two approaches have been taken to achieve this goal.
