Early- and late-onset dementia with Lewy bodies (EO-DLB and LO-DLB) are similar in terms of core symptoms. However, LO-DLB presents with more amnestic deficits, while EO-DLB shows a rapid cognitive decline and more severe neuropsychiatric symptoms at onset.
