“…13 Chronic migraine frequency was estimated to be 8.3%, and mean pain intensity score (based on visual analog scale) was 5.18 6 2.56, which is comparable to international statistics. 14 To our knowledge, although there are studies mapping EQ-5D in other health conditions in Iran, [15][16][17] there are currently no studies that have estimated utility values for migraine by mapping from the condition-specific questionnaires in Iranian migraineurs. Furthermore, there are not many studies worldwide that map migraine condition-specific questionnaires to utility.…”

“…Since screening targets people with apparently healthy conditions, the test should be applied to a large proportion of the population [13][14][15]. Thus it can be argued that the initiation of a screening program requires a significant amount of society's resources should be allocated to the program [16][17][18]. In other words, any decision about CKD screening in favor of society requires examining all the available options [19].…”

“…The epidemiological burden of cataract has increased by 12% in the past two decades (3). Patients with cataract lose about 40% of their total healthrelated quality of life that can be recovered by cataract surgery (4), which is a highly cost-effective intervention with excellent prognosis for sight restoration (5). VISION 2020: the Right to Sight is an international drive to increase cataract surgical services in order to reduce the cataract "backlog" of people needing cataract surgery (6).…”
