“…14–17 Differences could simply be a reflection of the states included in the sample or could indicate changes in the prevalence of cannabis use, thus underscoring the need for continued surveillance with consistent reporting. To our surprise, findings also suggest similarities for both groups (cancer survivors and individuals without a history of cancer) regarding individual characteristics associated with cannabis use and strengthens previous literature regarding the importance of age, biological sex, and race/ethnicity in regards to adult cannabis use 11,14,15,17 .
