Marital Status, Father Acknowledgement, and Birth Outcomes: Does the Maternal Education Matter?

Abstract: We evaluated whether the maternal marital status and father acknowledgement (proxy for paternal presence) affect birth weight, and if so, whether the maternal educational attainment modifies this effect.
