Markierung und Identifikation von Protein-Mikroumgebungen in Pilzen

Abstract: The proximity-dependent biotin identification (BioID) method allows the in vivo examination of molecular environments of proteins. The methodology is based on the labeling of proteins with biotin that are proximal to a protein of interest, followed by affinity purification and identification via mass spectrometry. This article describes the application of BioID in fungi.
