Martensitic transformation, thermomagnetic properties and electronic resistivity of amorphous alloys (Fe_1-xNi_x)₈₄B₁₆after crystallization

Abstract

In the reduced curves of electronic resistivity and thermomagnetic measurement of the amorphous alloys, (Fel-xNix)84 B16 with 0.02<x<0.08, preheated to a temperature higher than that of crystallization, an anomalous abruption at about 15OoC was observed.The results of differential thermal analysis (DTA) and of X-ray diffraction show that after crystallization of the amorphous alloys (Fe1-,Nix)84B16 the anomalous abruption can be attributed to the martensitic transformation of yFe(Ni) to u F e ( N i ) .
