Abstract:Hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) are responsible for the generation of blood and immune cells throughout life.They have the unique ability to self-renew and generate more HSCs or differentiate into a progenitor cell in response to cell-intrinsic and -extrinsic stimuli.
