Abstract: The mass spectra of a number of cymantrenyl-, ferrocenyl-and benchrotrenyIcarbmois have been siudied. The eiimination of water moledes from íhe d e d a r ious pmceeds by the l,2-elimination mechanism involving hydroxyi transfer to the metal.
