Abstract:The microstructure and composition of aluminum oxide films, formed by a two-step anodization process in various electrolytes at 100 V then subject to an intermediate heat treatment (500 °C, 2 min), were investigated. The anodization electrolytes used included ammonium adipate electrolyte, phosphoric acid electrolyte, ammonium dihydrogen phosphate electrolyte, and their mixtures. The cross-section morphologies, crystal structure, and chemical composition of aluminum anodic oxides were examined by transmission e… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
