Material Damping in Dynamic Analysis of Structures

Abstract: The paper deals with numerical research as to how material damping influences the load-bearingstructures in dynamic loads. Certain technique is suggested for modelling behaviour of structure in time historyanalysis with account of material damping. A set of motion equations is solved according to Newmark method asmatrix.
