Material reflector for cellular/PCS array applications

Abstract: A material reflector composed of a metallic ground plane, resistive sheets and, if necessary, elongated rails along the edges of the sheet reflector is presented. The optimized design achieves a front-to-back ratio greater than 30 dB with minimal change in pattern beamwidth.
