Abstract:This article briefly overviews the main types of raw materials used to synthesise ceramic membranes. Traditional materials such as aluminium oxide, silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide, zirconium dioxide, zeolites, and cost-effective materials like various clays and industrial waste are highlighted.
