Maternal Serum Level of Vitamin D and the Incidence of Preeclampsia

Abstract: Background: After 20 weeks of pregnancy, preeclampsia is a state marked by hypertension and proteinuria. affecting 2-8% pregnancy worldwide and is the major factor of maternal and foetal morbidity and death. Aim of the work:To discover whether preeclamptic women had greater vitamin D deficiency than normotensive pregnant women. Patients and methods: This research involved 90 pregnant women.
