Abstract:A study was made of the number of dislocations change in the crystallographic shift zone for fcc metals: lead, aluminum and copper, depending on the magnitude of the acting stress and other factors affecting the formation of the shear zone, using a mathematical model that takes into account the influence of the basic resistance mechanisms to the propagation of a dislocation loop.
