Meaningful Work

Abstract: Meaningful work describes work that is worthwhile, significant, satisfying, and conducive to personal growth, self‐efficacy, self‐esteem, belongingness, and well‐being. This article offers an overview of the history of the meaning of work and some of the key questions about meaningful work in organizations.
