Measles outbreaks in high schools closely associated with sporting events in Niigata, Japan

“…One outbreak was facilitated by both a marathon race and a kendo (Japanese fencing) event. 27 The most common pathogens responsible for the outbreaks were MRSA (n ¼ 7, 33%) and tinea (trichophytosis; n ¼ 6 [29%]).
