Abstract:In digital geometry, objects such as digital straight lines can be considered as equivalent classes of Euclidean straight lines with respect to a digitization process. This article investigates the analysis of the set of straight lines whose digitization is a given digital straight segment with the help of tools from integral geometry. After a definition of a measure on such sets, we illustrate several applications of it in digital geometry for contour analysis. V
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
