Measurement of adsorption characteristics of alumina and activated carbon using a quartz crystal resonator with i-butane

Abstract: A new device for measuring the pore characteristics of adsorbents is developed for fast measurement and convenient sample handling. The proposed device utilizes a quartz crystal resonator capable of detecting the change of mass loading in nanogram scale.
