“…1 shows a schematic diagram of the experimental apparatus used in this work. A detailed description of the experimental apparatus and procedure can be obtained from our previous publications [12][13][14][15]. The apparatus consists of a view cell equipped with a sapphire window and a movable piston, a pressure generator, a borescope, a video monitor, a magnetic stirring system, and an air bath.…”

“…The validity of the experimental procedure has been verified by comparing the saturation pressure of CO 2 against the REFPROP 9.1 database for five temperatures in the interval 282 < T [K] < 303. The relative deviations were lower than 1.5% for 282 K, around 1% for 287, 291, and 296 K, and 0.5% for 301 K. A comparison of the bubble point pressure of the binary system [ x CO 2 + (1 – x ) R -22] ( x = 0.416) with the (secondary source) data of Lee et al for five temperatures in the interval 302 < T [K] < 343, resulted in relative deviations of −1% for 302 K, 3.3% at 313 K, 2% at 323 K, and less than 1% for 333 and 343 K. The validation experimental data and reference values are shown in Table . For pure CO 2 , the expanded uncertainty considers just the pressure transducer, while for the binary mixture, the temperature and composition uncertainties were combined together.…”
