“…Though jets with larger momenta are more collimated, the net effect is an increase of j T as p T, jet increases. These measurements are consistent with the findings by the ATLAS [19] and LHCb collaborations [20]. 2) handle both the showering process and hadronisation differently.…”

“…The results showed no clear dependence on the transverse momentum (p T ) of the trigger particle. Jet measurements to study j T were done by the CDF collaboration in pp collisions at √ s = 1.96 TeV [18] at Tevatron, by the ATLAS collaboration in pp at √ s = 7 TeV [19] and by the LHCb collaboration in pp collisions at √ s = 8 TeV [20] at the LHC. The results show a dependence of the width of j T distributions with respect to the p T of jets at the LHC energies.…”

“…The measurements are performed integrated over the Z kinematics, so that the charged hadron-in-jet distributions can be studied in three bins of jet p T . Reference [4] describes the analysis procedures and methods in greater detail. Figure 2: Comparisons of the longitudinal momentum fractions of charged hadrons in Z-jet with similar measurements in midrapidity inclusive jets (left) and midrapidity isolated photon-jets (right).…”

“…In this talk, new measurements of charged hadron production within jets opposite a Z boson are presented from the LHCb experiment [4]. Previous measurements of hadrons within jets at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) have been made almost exclusively in the inclusive jet channel [5,6,7].…”

“…This tagging enriches the jet sample with light-quark jets and depletes the contribution of gluon-jets. Z and γ-tagged jets are harder and more collimated than inclusive jets [19,20]. With preselecting the jet type by this sort of tagging, one can study jet modification in the medium in a more controlled manner.…”
