“…Moreover, there were studies which indicated that rCBF could be calculated using 123 I IMP and SPECT with venous blood sampling (11,17) or without any blood sampling (7,12,13). In these studies on less invasive methods for rCBF quantification, the rCBF values were compared with those obtained by the conventional methods using 123 I IMP and arterial blood sampling as the reference (7,(11)(12)(13)17).
