Abstract:In this paper, the gaseous pressure-volume-temperature properties of ethyl fluoride (HFC-161) were studied over a temperature range from 278 to 378 K and pressures from 135.08 to 4235.22 kPa. A total of 132 data points were acquired using the Burnett isochoric method. The standard uncertainties for temperature and pressure were estimated to be less than 8 mK and 0.7 kPa, respectively. The experimental data were correlated with a virial-type equation of state. The comparisons were carried out between the presen… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
