“…The zygomatic bones are larger particularly among individuals of Asian descent, contributing to their more prominent cheekbones and euryene face, in comparison to those of European decent (Comas, 1960). In the present study we investigated primarily non‐Asian skulls in contrast to the work by Kim et al ., which involved exclusively specimens of Korean descent (DuBrul, 1988; Kim et al ., 1997).
