Measuring fluence distribution of excimer laser with YBCO film light thermodetector

Abstract: The average fluence distribution ofexcimer laser is an important parameter in various applications ofexcimer laser. But it is more difficulty to measure the parameter due to UV wavelength of excimer laser, very short pulse width, energy undulation among various pulses and or so. Basing on the anisotropy Seeback tensor coefficients, a light-thermo radiation detector made from high Tc superconductor YBa2Cu3O7. was fabricated. The novel advantages ofthis detector are that it functions at room temperature, with ve… Show more

“…Such assumptions, however, require the verification that the causal and linear relationship between Δ T and Δ V is maintained over a long period of bj‐PG's activity time. Such verification is missing in the current literature . Therefore, this work studies the interaction between CB‐IR radiation and a bj‐PG over time.…”

“…Due to the association between radiation and heat, bj‐PGs are largely used to exploit the SE in thermopiles useful for IR radiation detection, power measurements, thermal imaging, temperature sensors, and energy‐harvesting devices . In these applications, a large variety of sources, from common broadband sources to lasers, are employed to activate the bj‐PGs . Recent work describes the dependence of Δ V on the geometry of the interaction between continuous broadband (CB)‐IR radiation and a bj‐PG and on the polarization of the CB‐IR radiation .…”
