Meccanizzazione della produzione e pratiche di riutilizzo. Una nota archeologica
Andrea Vanni Desideri
Abstract:The author points out some reflections on hydraulic machines for the production of semi-finished wood and stone products between antiquity and the Middle Ages. Particular emphasis is placed on the role that stone cutting machines had in some cities of the Near East in the treatment of precious materials removed from ancient monuments for the creation of the large mosaic coverings of churches.
