Abstract: A combination of experiments and theoretical models is used to study the mechanical and thermal properties of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and magnetite nanoparticle‐reinforced PDMS composites with the potential for applications in biomedical implants for localized hyperthermia and photothermal ablation.
