Abstract

hor the last two years, wc have been involved in thedesign of DCARR. a Differential Critical Ancle Reflection Refraction detector system, that measure) 500-to 5000-eV low-energy x rays v. ith a high degree ol resolution (250 eV). This capability was not previously available in field testing. I'lie first eight detectors have been assembled, calibrated, and installed fortesting in a nuclear field event in early September.
