Mechanical Thrombectomy for Internal Carotid Artery Occlusion in a Patient with POEMS Syndrome

Abstract: To report a case of mechanical thrombectomy (MT) for internal carotid artery (ICA) occlusion in a patient with polyneuropathy, organomegaly, endocrinopathy, monoclonal gammopathy, and skin changes (POEMS) syndrome, a rare systemic disease associated with plasma cell proliferation.
