Mechanism of Colloidal Attachment on Textile Fibrous Media

Abstract: Colloids are fi nely divided particles distributed in a dispersion medium. Th e diameter of particles ranges from around 10 nm to 10μm [1]. Many of these colloids (viruses, bacteria and protozoan parasites) in surface water pose a risk to public health [2].
