Abstract: A micropump driven by electrochemically produced short-lived bubbles I V Uvarov, S S Lemekhov, A E Melenev et al. Abstract. A piezoelectric micropump with four flexible valves is proposed and its mechanism is researched. In the micropump chamber four asymmetric flexible valves are used to achieve single direction flow. The concept of targeted and controlled drug delivery, which directs treatment to precise anatomical sites, offers benefits such as fewer side effects, reduced toxicity, optimized dosages, and quicker responses. However, challenges remain to engineer dependable systems and materials that can modulate host tissue interactions and overcome biological barriers. To stay aligned with advancements in healthcare and precision medicine, novel approaches and materials are imperative to improve effectiveness, biocompatibility, and tissue compliance. Electronically controlled drug delivery (ECDD) has recently emerged as a promising approach to calibrated drug delivery with spatial and temporal precision. This article covers recent breakthroughs in soft, flexible and adaptable bioelectronic micro‐systems designed for ECDD. It overviews the most widely reported operational modes, materials engineering strategies, electronic interfaces, and characterization techniques associated with ECDD systems. Further, it delves into the pivotal applications of ECDD in wearable, ingestible, and implantable medical devices. Microfluidic systems are crucial in various fields including biological fluid handling and microelectronic cooling. Micropumps play a vital role in microfluidics. Valveless micropumps are the preferred choice in microfluidics because of their ability to minimize the risk of clogging and gently handle biological materials. In this comprehensive Four-Flap Valveless Micropump (FFVM) simulation, the fluid flow and associated deformation in the valveless micropump are analyzed. The oscillatory fluid motion generated by a straightforward reciprocating pumping mechanism is transformed into a unidirectional net flow by the micropump. This pump eliminates the need for intricate actuation mechanisms found in valve-based pumps while offering precise direction control. The input is given in terms of the Reynolds number or inflow velocity. In this study, the Reynolds numbers were changed from 16 to 50, which resulted in a positive correlation with the net flow rates, yielding a maximum net flow rate of 20.81 µl /min at a Reynolds number of 50. The influence of the average flow velocity is evident, with a peak net flow rate of 29.16 µl/min at 50 cm/sec. The FFVM showcases adaptability by delivering fluid within microfluidic pathways, holding promising applications in precision drug delivery systems
