Abstract:Density functional theory (DFT) calculations were conducted to explore the mechanisms and origins of regio-and stereoselectivities underlying the [3 + 3] annulation reaction between α-bromoenals and 5-aminoisoxazoles with N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) as the catalyst.
