Abstract:The kinetics and mechanism of forskolin oxidation by the Fe(III) ‐ 1,10‐phenanthroline complex ((), (Phen)) have been studied in a perchloric acid medium. This reaction is of the first order in Fe(III) and forskolin. Synchronistic study showed that an increase in [Phenanthroline] increases the rate of the reaction.
