Abstract:A red luminescent coordination polymer has been prepared from a polydentate 8-hydroxyquinoline ligand via mechanochemical synthesis. The obtained coordination polymer is micro/nano spherical and can suspend stably in organic solvents after ultrasonic treatment. Due to the large conjugation of the ligand with a strong polar s-triazine core, the coordination polymer shows a largely red-shifted emission relative to the ligand. The photoluminescence peak of the coordination polymer in organic solvent is at 613 nm,… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
