Medical decision‐making for adolescents with depression: A bibliometric study and visualization analysis via CiteSpace

Abstract: This study focussed on evaluating the status of recent research on medical decision‐making for adolescents with depression and identifying research hotspots and frontiers via CiteSpace. We extracted studies that were concerned with medical decision‐making for adolescents with depression from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC), covering the period from 1 January 1999 to 20 September 2022. We used CiteSpace to generate online maps of worldwide cooperation among countries, institutions, and authors. Hotsp… Show more

“…[9] Due to its rich functions, Citespace has become a popular method for medical big data analysis. [10][11][12][13] This research is used for cluster analysis of co-cited literature and analysis of centrality between countries. The time span (1999-2022), years per slice (1), links (strength: cosine, scope: within slices), selection criteria (maximum number of selected items per slice = 50), pruning (Pathfinder, Pruning sliced networks), and all of the other parameters were left at their default settings.…”

“…This software plays a crucial role in evaluating the research status of literature within a specific research field, analyzing collaboration networks, research topics, and research trends. 14,15 This study used CiteSpace to analyze the distribution or co-authorship relationships of countries, institutions, authors, and journals. The LLR algorithm was utilized to cluster the results of keyword co-occurrence analysis.…”
