Abstract:The present study introduces a new approach to encrypting medical images. The available encryption algorithms are good for text data. They may not be suitable for multimedia data, especially for sensitive medical image data. Indeed, the pixels of natural and biological images exhibit a significant correlation with their adjacent pixels.
