Aim
To constructed an online information management platform for inpatients’ caregivers and implemented a survey to assess user satisfaction.
Methods
To construct an information management platform .Convenience sampling was implemented with 196 caregivers and 118 nurses from affilited hospital in 2020.
Results
The platform included app and personal computer terminals and ports for inpatients’ caregivers, nurses, and administrators. The approval time for the electronic attendant cards was (3.13 ± 0.73) minutes, was shorter than paper cards (7.12 ± 1.00) minutes. The approval time for nurses was (2.63 ± 0.72) minutes, was significantly shorter than paper cards (7.62 ± 0.73) minutes. Caregivers and nurses satisfaction levels were 95.10% and 95.01%, respectively, and were high for all four evaluated dimensions: operations, services, security, and user experience.
Conclusion
Precise control of caregivers’ movements can be achieved using a digital information management platform, thereby reducing the nurses’ burden, and saving time. Given high ratings by inpatients’ caregivers and nurses, can improve work efficiency.
