Abstract:Medicated chewing gums (M.C.G) are well known for patient convenience because of its ease of administration. They can very well be used for acute treatments. M.C.G’s contain one or more active ingredients, which are released by chewing and are intended to be used for treatment of diseases in mouth and also for systemic delivery.
