and the Juvenile Sex Offender Assessment Protocol-II (J-SOAP-II; Prentky & Righthand, 2003) are primarily focused on static factors is inaccurate. We do know that the ERASOR 2.0 is primarily composed of dynamic factors, and the J-SOAP-II has two dynamic and two static scales. We accurately stated this in literature reviews in our other writings (e.g., Rasmussen & Miccio-Fonseca, 2007a). However, this particular article was not structured to give a thorough review of the other risk assessment tools, but rather was focused on reviewing literature relating to sexually violent and predatory juvenile offenders. Our review of the risk assessment tools was too abbreviated, and our error was not caught in our own editing of the manuscript or by the peer reviewers. We sincerely apologize for our inaccurate statement about the items in the ERASOR 2.0. Please be assured that our future articles will reflect accurate information when reviewing the ERASOR 2.0 and that we will publicly announce the correction in professional workshops and presentations.
