Melamine and Spermine Mediated Supramolecular self–assembly of Octaphosphonate Tetraphenyl Porphyrin

Abstract: We demonstrate the supramolecular self‐assembly of {porphyrin‐5,10,15,20‐tetrayltetrakis[(benzene‐5,1,3‐triyl)bis (methylene)]}octakis(phosphonic acid) 1 in the presence of melamine and spermine. The morphology of 1 in the presence of melamine and spermine was different, indicated that change in analytes could be used to control nanostructures.
