“…Due to this scholarly demand to discover the unique experiences of often silenced populations (Sparkes, 2020), within the field of sport, scholars have naturally embraced the qualitative approach and have produced a variety of creative and insightful vignettes (Ing & Mills, 2017;Mills, 2015;Mitchell et al, 2016).
