“…The present study presents the first investigation of a long-duration exhausting activity on the high sea under difficult environmental conditions based on a case study using periodic subjective self-reports and objective self-measurements (mixed-method design). The self-reports assess the sleep quality and mental wellbeing [defined as a state in which the individual can cope with stresses of life ( Cresswell-Smith et al, 2022 )].
