“…The ambition of The International Journal of Children’s Rights is to contribute to the implementation of children’s rights and to have an impact on children’s role in society. The purpose of the new journal is ‘to provide academic support to the worldwide movement for the recognition, analysis and implementation of children’s rights, and in particular for the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child’ (Longford and Veerman, 1993: v). But also Childhood has the ambition to have impact on children’s lives.…”
