“…In dieser Untersuchung wurden die Werte in klinisch auffällige (ADS-Score ≥ 23) und klinisch unauffällige Fälle dichotomisiert. Die kultur-und geschlechtsbezogene Messäquivalenz der ADS-L wurde in einer vorangegangenen Untersuchung überprüft [28].…”

“…Both latent variable models allow for elegantly checking this assumption. In the SEM context, we refer to measurement invariance [40], for an interesting application in the clinical context see [41]. In the RM context, we refer to Differential Item Functioning (DIF [42]).…”

“…The CES-D and the German version of it (Allgemeine Depressionsskala) are brief self-report measures, designed to assess symptoms of depression in the general population in epidemiological studies among nine signs and symptoms of depression defined by the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, fourth edition [ 11 ]. Several studies have assessed the validity of the CES-D in different populations [ 24 , 25 ]. We used the short form of the German version of the CES-D in our study (allgemeine Depressionsskala Kurzform (ADS-K)) [ 25 ].…”
