The skills of a student are needed to achieve success in learning and everyday life. However, their skills were still low. Solution to solve this problem is to apply an inquiry learning model during learning. This research aims to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model on students' science process skills and critical thinking which is reviewed based on the level of education, subject matter and type of inquiry learning model. This type of research is a meta-analysis. Meta-analysis is research conducted by summarizing research data, reviewing and analyzing research data from several pre-existing research results. The articles of this research consisted of 20 articles that already had an ISSN. The instruments used were category codes and effect size calculations. The steps of meta analysis are conducting a literature review, collecting data, researching and assessing articles, analyzing and interpreting articles and compiling report results. The data analysis technique in this study is to calculate the magnitude of the effect using the formula (1981) based on the mean, standard deviation, and t-test. From the data analysis carried out, it can be stated that four research results. First, the application of the inquiry learning model has a significant effect on science process skills and critical thinking skills based on level education, learning materials, and types of inquiry learning model.

This research aims to identify students' learning motivation and students' understanding of learning concepts in Newton's Law material at SMAN 8 Jambi City. The research method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative method. The research subjects in this study were students of class XI F1 and F2 at SMAN 8 Jambi City. The sample selection technique used is cluster random sampling. The findings in this research are that student learning motivation and understanding of student learning concepts are important in the learning process, because students who have good motivation and understanding of concepts will make the learning process run smoothly with good results. The learning motivation of class 75 students, minimum score 71 and maximum score 81. Keywords: Newton's Law, Learning Motivation, Concept Understandin Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi motivasi belajar siswa dan pemahaman konsep belajar siswa pada materi Hukum Newton di SMAN 8 Kota Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Adapun subjek penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI F1 dan F2 SMAN 8 Kota Jambi. Dengan teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan yaitu cluster random sampling. Adapun temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar siswa dan pemahaman konsep belajar siswa penting dalam proses pembelajaran, karena siswa yang memiliki motivasi dan pemahaman konsep yang baik akan membuat proses pembelajaran lancar dengan hasil yang baik. Motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI F1 dan F2 SMAN 8 Kota Jambi dalam pada materi Hukum Newton dalam kategori baik dengan persentase 84,17% dengan frekuensi 75 siswa, nilai minimum 78 dan nilai maksimum 90. Sedangkan untuk pemahaman konsep persentase 77,16% dengan frekusensi 75 siswa, nilai minimum 71 dan nilai maksimum 81.Kata Kunci :Hukum Newton, Motivasi Belajar, Pemahaman Konsep

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of interactive multimedia on student learning outcomes by analyzing 15 articles that can be accessed from Google Scholar, Garuda, and Mendeley. These articles were published in non-accredited journals, accredited Sinta, and indexed by Copernicus or Scopus with 5 different sample levels, namely: Elementary School, Middle School, High School, Vocational High School, and College. The use of interactive multimedia contains text, graphics, audio and moving images (video) which can be displayed via projector and laptop screens. This research method uses a meta-analysis method, namely by comparing research data from control and experimental groups in the form of sample size (N), Standard Deviation (SD), and learning outcomes (X). The data was analyzed statistically to see the effect size value. Based on the results of the analysis test, it was found that from the 15 articles analyzed, the average effect size was 1.146 with a P-Value < 0.001 (P-Value < 0.05), which means that learning using multimedia is very effective or has an influence on student learning outcomes. Next, to see at which level the effectiveness value is higher, the analysis results found that the estimated value at the elementary school level was 1.719 (more effective), followed by the tertiary level with an estimate of 1.707.
