Abstract:Sea lice (Caligus rogercresseyi) is an ectoparasite that causes significant production losses in the salmon aquaculture industry of the southern hemisphere. Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) is an important salmonid for the aquaculture industry and a species highly susceptible to sea lice infestation.
